Theology of the 7 Mountains

The articles below are designed to help you understand the theological premise that God desires His people to be the "head, not the tail" as described in Deuteronomy 28:13. What does this mean in a diverse, contemporary society? Christ didn't come to lord over society but to serve through sacrificial giving to man. This is the call to every believer, to lay down their life for others and model the love of Christ in our world by serving and leading in the Spirit of Christ. And to be a catalyst to solve societal issues that plaque mankind.

God is raising up a new breed of man and woman in the workplace today. But, we have largely been a people who have operated at a "principle-based level" in regard to our relationship with God.
Every time a major crisis happens in the world, this question eventually comes up, especially among non-believers who struggle to understand the nature of God. What we need to understand is that God's heart breaks when something like this happens.
In the aftermath of the election, many of us in the evangelical church will have to reassess our strategies regarding what God is calling us to focus upon as we live out the mandate to disciple our nation (see Matt. 28:19). In my opinion, we have to start studying the book of Daniel to extrapolate strategies because, like the Babylon that Daniel served, Election Day showed that our nation continues on the road toward postmodernism and humanism while attempting governance without God's moral law as its guide.
"Do to others as you would have them do to you." -Luke 6:31
Do you believe God is in control?
The apostle Paul understood that the higher you go up a mountain of influence, the greater the level of spiritual warfare. "For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries" (1 Cor. 16:9).
Are you passionate about 24/7 prayer or bringing the Church into proper alignment? Are you passionate about forming strategic councils to impact the 7 mountains of society? Are you passionate about getting the Church outside the four walls of the church building? Then I strongly urge you to use Operation Rolling Thunder and CONECT to mobilize and CONECT the Church in your city today.
I was asked to present the vision for Operation Rolling Thunder in Spokane Washington May 24-27, 2010. The Allen's, Zion Christian Center and the Dream Center hosted the larger evening meetings while I met with a number of different groups of leaders during the day including a market place meeting at a local restaurant. That meeting included the Sherriff, a state representative and prominent business leaders as well.
In 1999 the Sentinel Group produced the first Transformation video. One of the testimonies they highlighted was Alomonga Guatemala where George Otis Jr. reported about the remarkable changes occurring within that community that pointed towards transformation. Two of the things that stood out besides many people accepting Christ as their Lord and savior was that the number of jails in the town decreased dramatically and they also reported how much the land was producing. The vegetables were huge...
What is God's intent for man and his relationship to culture? I believe a literal interpretation of the Old Testament account is not God's intent for today. I do not believe God's intent is for Christians to rule the earth; rather, I believe the New Testament calls us to serve the culture. God determines the fruit of our obedience to love Him and others in the culture. We should not make culture change a goal; it can only be fruit. Jesus never tried to use His authority; instead, He served people by solving their problems. He only exercised His authority over demons and principalities that sought to destroy people. Jesus loved all people, even when He disagreed with them.
