Theology of the 7 Mountains

The articles below are designed to help you understand the theological premise that God desires His people to be the "head, not the tail" as described in Deuteronomy 28:13. What does this mean in a diverse, contemporary society? Christ didn't come to lord over society but to serve through sacrificial giving to man. This is the call to every believer, to lay down their life for others and model the love of Christ in our world by serving and leading in the Spirit of Christ. And to be a catalyst to solve societal issues that plaque mankind.

In 1975, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With a Mission, had lunch together in Colorado. God simultaneously gave each of them a message to give to the other. About a month later the Lord showed Francis Schaeffer the same thing. This multi-part article discusses the theology of reclaiming the culture.
It was August, 1975. My family and I were up in a little cabin in Colorado. And the Lord had given me that day a list of things I had never thought about before. He said "This is the way to reach America and nations for God. And , "You have to see them like classrooms or like places that were already there, and go into them with those who are already working in those areas." And I call them "mind-molders" or "spheres".
The faith at work movement is now entering a new phase of expression. However, to understand this new phase it is helpful to review the history of this movement.
God's original intent was for Christians to rule and reign in Humility and through Servant leadership

Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food." And it was so (Genesis 1:29).
